Leroy Jenkins
I did a search for corrupted docfile, but came up with no results. Here's my problem... I just put together an assembly and when I went to save again, I got a warning from Solidworks that says "The docfile has been corrupted." All it will let me save from this point is anything but an assembly. If anybody has a clue as to what's going on, I will be very very thankful. BTW, I'm using the latest and greatest Solidworks. shift1313
Can you try Save AS and save it as a copy or do you get the same error? Are you using SW2010?
CALCAD
I think "The docfile has been corrupted" is a Windows error message, not from Solidworks. A google search on that error shows a variety of possible causes. Many of the references seem connected to SQL databases. If you're on a network, that may be a place to investigate. Sorry I don't have an answer.
Leroy Jenkins
I think it was a network error.. but I don't have any concrete evidence of this. Somehoe the issue resolved on it's own after a restart.
