It work well at ACAD 2008 WITH THE LONG RENUM

Command: RENUM

Type prefix: <>: 25

Type suffix: <>: LOP

Enter start number <1>: 2

keep contents of the text [Yes/No] <Yes>:

Paste text <exit> >>
Paste text <exit> >>
Can't paste to block's DText or MText.

Ok,

If I say Yes to the last que, I get: ActiveX Server returned an error: Element not found

If I select No, I get: Error. Can't pase text.

Is this the result from running the code in post #20?

If it is then there is something seriously wrong...

What is the command line return from running the code? If any.

But my code does not have any "que"... Are you sure you are loading the code properly and invoking it with "test"?

I meant que, as in the last choice asked by the lisp on the renum.

The "test" lisp, it just making all of the object disappear.

It says "regenerating model" then go blank

There is something seriously wrong there - the "test" code is just basic code to access the attributes in a block.

Yeah, seems that way. I think in 2008, the way to recongnize an attribute in a block is very different.

Well, seeing as this is the first I've heard of this kind of thing, in all the times people have used 2008, I think it is just your version...

But if any others find a problem, shout.
