jonnyt8010
Hi all, I'm working in a design job making layout and schematic drawings for electrical panels... At the minute I'm using autocad electrical 09 for schematic drawings but I don't like using automatic wire numbering because the wire numbers look untidy and end up in the wrong places! Is there anyway of drawing the numbers in the 'wire number' layer so they remain in place and are distinguished from the rest of the drawing, then updating them or recounting them via a command tool perhaps? GettinBetter
Have you tried the 'Align' tool? It does quite a good job of aligning the messy wire numbers. Just click the align button and choose the number you'd like to be the guide, then all the others you want moving can be selected, then when you're happy, just right click and they all line up. Just a thought.
