kyleh
I'm using AutoCAD Mechanical 2009, and my co-worker is using AutoCAD 2009. When I run my cursor over the object "weldment", it jumps around the object. When my co-worker moves his cursor around a dimension, leader, or most objects he has the same problem. The problem does not discriminate on file size, and the computer is more than substantial to handle anything AutoCAD can throw at it. dbroada
start with the easy stuff - have you got your snap turned on?
kyleh
I tried turning all of them off (autosnap = 0) and it still didn't fix it.
dbroada
does that clear SNAP too or just object snaps? Try F9
kyleh
Snap is off. It only looks like snap when I'm moving the cursor around the "weldment" object.
dbroada
object tracking? (F11)
kyleh
Object tracking did not fix the problem.
kyleh
Now it jumps around when I try pass my cursor over any line or arc like the system is lagging. Does it make any difference that I'm running Vista Ultimate instead of XP?
