Hi,

I am sorry if I am posting in the wrong forum. I am new to AutoCAD work and need some assistance from Pro's like you to understand the options a little better.

I am looking to extract bill of material data from existing autocad drawings into a text file that can be uploaded into our legacy systems. I did extensive google searches but couldn't find anything useful. I am trying to acheive this in a batch mechanism without having Autocad installed on the server/machine. Is that possible? Are there any tools that can do that? I am willing purchase something if it works.

Any ideas are appreciated.

thanks
