Please anybody can tell me " XDWGFADECTL "command is not working in my autocad 2009.o:)

That control was added in 2010, not available in 2009.

Well that certainly explains it. I wonder if the OP is running two versions of AC otherwise how else would he know about the new (to 2010) variable?

I am guessing the OP saw it mentioned in this or some other NG.

rkent what you said is correct.

Yesterday one of my friend mentioned about this command for fading Xrefs .i thought that it will work in 2009.sorry without a search i put the thread here.

In one of my computers we had installed 2010 LT before 2-3 months & my employee working on that was complaing about not being able to see the xref properly. & i was puting the reserach off for long time but this heled to overconme that
