what does FP stand for in autocad FP?

I was asked today by my boss what does FP stand for in autocad FP. Is there such a thing? Pardon me for this question, but im brain dead right now.

FP in autocad? its my first time to hear it, maybe this may help out http://www.engineering-software.com/prdocs/27674.ACM.pdf

 

let me think. in drafting. thier are achitectural drawing, structural, MEP- mechanical,electrical, plumbing. FP- maybe it means FIRE PROTECTION plan or drawing. maybe that is what your boss is talking about. just a guess.

FP? A new one on me. I know PL means plate, sorry an old steel worker.

 

Perhaps FP, foot print? A 12' x 16' room, 192 sq feet. Or, a fireplace?

 

This'll be interesting to see what replies come up.
