Netminder Posted January 15, 2010 Share Posted January 15, 2010 While not exactly being given carte blanche I have been asked to give my company a request for a new plotter and scanner. I currently run an HP DesignJet 800ps Plotter with the piggybacked HP DesignJet 815mfp scanner. I will require 36" wide, rolled paper and films; will require full color for the occasional poster, map or banner; on a system capable of printing high resolution AutoCAD Mechanical and Inventor drawings. Scanner should be a high resolution for detailed maps, aircraft drawings and schematics. Thought I would ask around to see what is recommended and poopooed. Thanks!
