Hi....once again, I'm in need of help!

I've just drawn a section of a building showing the different building materials used. To show the fibre insulation in the cavity walls, I used the linetype "batting" which seemed to work well....or so I thought. For some strange reason, it looks ok in model space, but when I view the drawing in paperspace, the "batting" is magnified and fills the whole drawing! Can't figure out where I'm going wrong!

While in the layout, try typing Psltscale and setting it to 1 and then regen; see if that helps.

Tried this....and it didn't work. :( I've tried changing the linetype scale (in paperspace) to fit but it doesn't help... I've also noticed that in some parts its just a straight line and when I check the properties, the linetype is shown as "batting"!!! And what is really weird is that it all looks ok in model space!!!

Is this a viewport zoom factor issue rather than an ltscale problem? What scale is your viewport set to?

There is a toggle inside the Linetype Manager labeled "Use paper space units for scaling". See if toggling it off will get the view you are looking for.

I don't know if this is the best way to fix the problem, but it has worked for me in the past.

The viewport scale 1:10. The rest of the drawing is fine...its just the batting which has gone....well, batty! :?
