Newbie Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 I am having trouble with builders sending PDF's for bids. Is there any way ti insert the PDF into Autcad 2008 to scale so that I can draw over the PDF image and recreat the plan to scale? Nay help is apreciated Quote
tzframpton Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 I do this ALL the time. Just scale the PDF, but use the Reference command to reference a dimension or any known size, such as a door. Easy as cake. Quote
Tankman Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 Sure! Take a known measurement of any part of the *.pdf and scale up/down as required. Or, and it doesn't do a great job, www.pdf2cad.com. Works in a pinch. You will still need to scale the resulting image. Like StykFacE said, "Easy as cake." Quote
