Xref problem

Hello all, first post hope somebody can help.

I'm attatching an xref into an autocad 2006 drawing, however when it opens in the drawing it is much smaller than it should be.

If i insert it as a block it comes in fine, it's just when i try and xref it that i get a problem.

Has anyone else experienced this, if so, how did you rectify it.

Your help would be much appreciated.

Thanks:)

try changing the Scale when attaching the X-ref, tick the Uniform Scale box and enter an appropriate scale in the X-box.

For instance for me, I have all my drawings in millimeters and I tend to get a lot of drawings that are done in meters so I need to scale it up 1000 times to get it right. Why it comes in right as a block, I don't really know though...checkif the 'Block Unit' is the same in both dialogue boxes (the Insert box and Attach X-ref box)
