When I create a new anotative mtext object in paperspace, I'm missing all the re-sizing grip tabs. The base point grip stays and moves with the changing of the justification, but the others are missing.

When I turn off annotativeness in the properties, arrow shapped grips appear in all corners other than the base point. I don't have the anotative scales set to anything silly, but simply a 1:1 scale.

Also, arrow shaped grips appear when creating text in model space, anotative or otherwise, but they don't change the wrapping of the text. I don't have any properties that are set to 0, and changing the defined paper width while anotative does nothing.

I hope i explained my problems acurately enough. Any help would be appreciated!:)

I haven't quite got my head around the new Mtext grips in 2010 yet, However I did find it helpfull to turn of 'Auto Columns'.

And you might want to check that the Mtext width is greater than 0
