TroutKing Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 Can someone tell me if there is a system variable that will enable me to toggle on and off the text justification when I mirror text? For example - I have a table with text on the left side of each row. Each text is justified "Middle Right". When I mirror this table I then want the text to be on the right side of my table but justified "Middle Left". Currently when I mirror the justification remains as it was. Can someone help? Thanks Mike Quote
Pablo Ferral Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 I'm not aware of any. You can change the properties of multiple objects all at once using the properties palette. Is that any help? Quote
TroutKing Posted February 10, 2010 Author Posted February 10, 2010 Thanks Pablo. I currently use the properties palette to adjust the text after I mirror it. I was hoping to save a step by finding a system variable. Quote
ReMark Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 Are you referring to the variable MIRRTEXT? Quote
Pablo Ferral Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 As far as I am aware 'MIRRTEXT' allows you to mirror the text, TroutKing wants to keep the text reading from left to right, but mirror the justification. Possibly a good question for a Lisp Wizard... Quote
bonehead411 Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 I've just done a quick check......... DTEXT will mirror, but justification remains the same. MTEXT mirrors text and justification. Quote
Pablo Ferral Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 BoneHead, you are completly right, but TroutKing's text is in a table. I've just done a quick check, and I couldn't even get the table to mirror! Quote
bonehead411 Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 A good point well made Pablo, I'd completely ignored that bit of information. You're right, I just tried it myself with a table. Very odd indeed. Quote
