DWG Destroyer Posted February 16, 2010 Posted February 16, 2010 Been using ScriptPro a bit recently and am growing very fond of it, but there is one niggling problem that has been vexing me! Whenever it is used, it will open and close each drawing one at a time, with AutoCAD popping up every time a new drawing is being manipulated. This wouldn’t pose a problem, if I could just keep all my other windows on top of it while it does its thing! Any advice? I know there are other programs out there that can offer a better service at a cost, but I’m afraid I’m not permitted to buy any software, so its freeware only for me L any workarounds/ mitigation anyone could offer would be splendid! alanjt Posted February 16, 2010 Posted February 16, 2010 Autocad becoming the active window is just part of Autocad's settings within Windohs. Quote
Lee Mac Posted February 16, 2010 Posted February 16, 2010 Scriptpro does this because it uses a batch process which involves quitting the application instead of just closing the drawing - a pointless and time-consuming method. Perhaps my Script Writer will help you (link in my sig), as it doesn't involve closing AutoCAD, all you need to know is how to write the script operations. Quote
