Way to turn up resolution when outputting to pdf?

I'm having a problem in that when I select dwg. to pdf in page setup manager, many of the smaller dashed lines I make in my drawings show up as one thick line in pdf.....is there a way to turn up the resolution of the pdf so it shows the smallest of details?

I think it might be dependent on your printer.

 

We have a Kyocera. If I create a PDF file, open it, and then go to Print Setup I first click on the Properties button. Next I click on the Imaging tab. Under Print Quality I select Custom then press the button next to it. This takes me to a window where I have two resolution choices: 300 dpi or 600 dpi.

Actually I'm not printing them out. All the dashed lines look like one single line in pdf reader on screen when I zoom in on them. My page dimensions are set to 24x36.

What pdf writer are you using? Adobe? Cutepdf? Autocad Dwg to Pdf? other?

 

Take a look at this: http://www.cadzation.com/acad2007.htm. Scroll down to the middle of the page to see how to change the .pc3 file for your pdf writer. Try setting your resolution (dpi) to 600.

I'm using the stock autocad dwg to pdf writer, what resolution is that by default?

What do the dashed lines look like in paper space? If they are continious lines type in PSLTSCALE, hit enter, change the value to 0, hit enter, type in REGEN or REA and hit enter.
