I need help, I don't know what to choose for my coputer, for rendering, max,work with autocad, maya ... , a guadro fx 1800 or a GTX 285 , I am between a card with possibilities to turn on a lot of functions but with few bits and memory, and a gamers videocard more power but few functions I think--- Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

One is for gaming, and one is for 3D rendering and CAD applications. I personally would go with the FX1800 but if you want to go with gaming then go with the gaming card, it'll still suffice.
