Kelly Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 I am currently working on a project in which i work from home (jump drive) and from the server at work. I read that if i use the system variable "PROJECTNAME" I CAN DIRECT MY XREFS TO READ FROM A MORE GENERAL PATH. THEN SET THE PATH TO "NO PATH" i HAVE done this and have yet to get it to work in AutoCAD 2010. Please help. I just want to be able to do work from my jumpdrive and not have to repath all of these xrefs... i feel like i have been doing the same thing over and over and over... it is driving me bananas. thanks in advance. If you use the PROJECTNAME, you have to set the support paths in Options. If you set you xrefs to "no path" or "partial path", you just have to make sure those xrefs are in those locations relative to the drawings. Quote
