chavlji
I have ACad 2008. I've created annotative block "Comment". I placed it into another (not annotative) block "Section" inside block editor (editing block "Section"). Scale is 1:100. I close and save block editor. Set ucs to something other than World. I rotate ucs for 20°. Then I open block "Section" in In place editor. Inside editor I set scale to 1:200 and... ERROR! Block "Comment" is scaled accordingly but it is rotated!? Angle becomes relative to UCS. It is rotated for 20°. If I set scale back to 1:100 it is rotated as it should be. I AM SICK OF THIS AUTOCAD AND IT'S NEW INVENTIONS THAT NEVER WORKS AS IT SHOULD...!!! ReMark
I would not have considered nesting an annotative block inside a non-annotative block. Maybe that's part of the problem? Have you created other such entities that have worked as expected? Are you up-to-date with 2008 service packs? Why not post this hybrid-block (as a dwg file) and let us take a look at it and try it out.
