Stanier Posted March 10, 2010 Author Posted March 10, 2010 Hi - I am back on line have enjoyed a good pub lunch and have picked up the thread again and have followed the instructions to the letter but afraid to say that I am still having the same old problem! The rivet is still being placed away from the cursor. Incidently, having created a block how can a block deleted in r2000? Quote

eldon Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Hi - I am back on line have enjoyed a good pub lunch and have picked up the thread again and have followed the instructions to the letter but afraid to say that I am still having the same old problem! The rivet is still being placed away from the cursor. Incidently, having created a block how can a block deleted in r2000? I don't know what I am doing different, but I followed the instructions to the letter, and have attached the updated file, and the 3-64 rivet is now redefined. If a block is not being used in the drawing, but is merely lurking in the data base, then a PURGE should shift it. Cab SideA.dwg Quote
Stanier Posted March 10, 2010 Author Posted March 10, 2010 Hi - Yes success! Your file certainly works but I do wonder where I may have been going wrong as I thought that I was following your instructions. Anyway many thanks for your time and trouble and to everyone else who gave their time. Quote
Fire_col Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Don't mention it, after all it's what we're all here for, to help each other out. Quote
eldon Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 It was probably that my instructions may not have been exactly key-stroke for key-stroke. One tends to take for granted certain actions. Now you have the final result, you can keep trying and suddenly there will be a "EUREKA" cry from you. I will keep my ears open! Quote
