MikeScott Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Only when it prints, or does it normally look like that? Seems like you've got an update of a dynamic block or XREF when you go to print, and it's not finding the files it's looking for. Check your plot details and check your command line window to see if it's looking for things it can't find.. Importing the drawing as a block into another drawing might give you some error messages that shed some light on it. You may also have a dimension style or external block that's named the same as the incoming file. It looks like a dynamic block with all the information stripped off of it, but the dislocated text (ie- the floating "I" in the lettering across the top) looks like a substitute font or font spacing issue of some kind. Kemphas Posted March 28, 2010 Author Posted March 28, 2010 It does not normally look like this when i get back in town to my desktop i can take screen shots it looks normal... i dont understand why it decided to print all crazy like thay. One further Question... on Mview's can I hide specific Layers for that Mview only? For Instance hiding all dimensions on one layout page and applying annotations and notes to a mechanical drawing and than have a second layout display simply the dimensions.. If i cannot do that than why dont i just draw things in Paperspace only? Quote
ReMark Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 AutoCAD LT? There is no "Freeze layer in current viewport" option is the Layer Properties Manager of LT? Quote
Kemphas Posted March 29, 2010 Author Posted March 29, 2010 Yes there is, Thank you I did not see this when I was searching through the program. I'm still really new to this program and finding these functions as I go. I promise I wont ask a question twice. Quote
