SFG13 Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 Hi, From my professor's final drawing of a base plate, one side of the plate was done by a vertical line going down and at the end is angled with a radius of 3/8 or R 3/8. What tool can I use to make that? Quote
Strix Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 is this a 2D or 3D assignment? Assuming 2D, and you're looking at this edge-on, the command you're looking for is RADIUS. You'll be prompted for the value Quote
SFG13 Posted March 21, 2010 Author Posted March 21, 2010 2D. Yeah I used radius, made a 3/8 circle, and placed it at the bottom of the line touching the side and the horizontal bottom of the plate. I then drew a line halfway through the circle and line, made trims, and tada, a line with a R 3/8 curve. I figured it would be a circle from the "radius," duh! Thanks! Quote
Cad64 Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 If I understand the question correctly, the FILLET command would be a better choice for this. Quote
