salman Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 I have got a drawing from an outside party. Their are a few issues with that drawing 1. It contains an object similar to a leader, but when I view its properties its type is not leader/polyline/block etc rather its type is Acad_Proxy_Entity. What is this type and secondly I am not able to change its properties such as color. 2. The drawing contains some MTEXT objects. I have changed the color of the layer on which these objects reside. I have also changed the color property of all these to ByLayer. Still their color is not changed. When in the properties window I check the color its shown as ByLayer but actually its different. So what I did is manually edit each of the MTEXT object. Select all the text in it and then change the color from the Text Formatting toolbar. This works but why the first technique is not working.
