g-druck Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 Hi I'm using AutoCAD 2010 LT at home and 2010 full at work. In both places I use aerial JPG & TIFF files and almost alway put text on them for labeling. I use command wipeout to clear a spot where I will have text and use Mtext for the text on the wipeout spots. When plotted this shows the text on a white background and gives me the best results. My question: Is there another way to accomplish this without have white spots with text? I have tryed using just Mtext on JPG but the result is not clearly readable. Anyone have any ideas here? Thanks Garth Quote
dirtlegg Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 I use a text style with a width that can be adjusted to be bolder than default(any with .shx after the name) and plot it in a color that is visible...yellow or red on an aerial works good for me....or white text for that matter....hope this helps Quote
ChristinaSeay Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 I've done the same thing as dirtlegg and it worked for me. Quote
