Hi guys. I'm new here

to cut a long story short i'm having problems with the plotter in AutoCAD 2010.

i made a new plotter using the plotter wizard like i did previously using the older version of CAD.

so anyway i wanted to plot the files so i could open them in photoshop. however the files are saving as DWF files and i need them to save as .EPS files as they won't open in photoshop. i keep getting errors. please PLEASE PLEASE help me! as i have a job interview next week and i need my portfolio completed.

Many thanks

Extended Post-Scrip files are only acceptable in Photoshop, so that they too can write back to the very same printer/plotter after corrections are done. Makes a difference as to exactly what printer/plotter you are using, for not all of them have the PS capability.

wanted to thank you again Cad64. I have set up my plotter and it is in perfect working order. i have realised what the problem was. I kept forgetting to choose the 'plot to file' option what a silly mistake to make! that's what happenes when we get ourselves worked up. So thank you for your help and god bless.

No problem. Good luck with your interview. Let us know if you get the job. :luck:
