Burner Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 So here is the scenario: My Pan navigation seems to be moving very slow and I think it have something to do with the ViewCube/3D modeling. I know how to turn off the navigation cube (options>3D Modeling Tab), but is there a way to completely switch to just plain 2D. I noticed in another drawing I have where the Pan tool works normally the ViewCube option on the View Tab is grayed out. If I can do this to my “slow” drawing I think I would fix the problem. I am using AutoCAD 2010. Any suggestions? Quote
Burner Posted March 24, 2010 Author Posted March 24, 2010 I guess that might fix the problem... I have tried changing to 2D Drafting & Annotation in Workspace Switching at the bottom of my screen. My Pan tool is still very slow, and the ViewCube option at the top can still be selected. It feels like my computer is working too hard but it’s just for this one drawing. Quote
ReMark Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 Only one drawing? Are there any Xrefs? How about scalelist overload? Have you purged the drawing? Have you run an Audit on the drawing? What is the file size of the drawing? Quote
rkent Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 "Switch to 2D" and turn off "Nav Cube" If I change SHADEMODE to 2D the Nav Cube goes away. Is this what you seek? Quote
