I use Autocad2009. I had a little window that allowed me to select different layers to draw with. I no longer have it. How can I get it back?

Are you using the Ribbon? Look on the Home tab, Layers panel. There should be a drop-down box listing the current layers.

Yeah, uhh, here's what my Autocad looks like.

You seem to be missing your Ribbon. Is that intentional?

You do have access to Layer Properties though.

Did you try changing workspaces?

Is it a good idea to post a screenshot which quite clearly says that AutoCAD is an unregistered version ?

The OP got so excited after loading AutoCAD for the first time he jumped right in to use it? Well, he's got 30 days right?

Go into the CUI, pick the current Workspace, hit customize in the upper right, then go to the upper left, pick toolbars, check off Layers toolbar, save and exit the CUI.

Just click the big red "A" in the upper left, click Toolbars, then AutoCADthen click Layers. There's a whole bunch of other stuff on that list you might like on your toolbars too.

My trial version said Trial Version.
