convert Lat, Long to X,Y

Hi all,

 

I have a problem to convert the Lat, Long values to cad coordinates.

I need to place a block baced on the Lat, Long values.

 

Is there any formulae to convert the Lat, Long values to X,Y values.

 

My drawing units : mm

Projection system: Mercator

Values like : 0.5 E 90 N, 10 E 90N

 

Please provide the required information for this.

Hi all,

 

Actually i would like to know the mathamatical expression to find the X,Y coordinates.

 

I found a formulae for this

 

but it is not working accurately

 

X=long*(pi/180)*Conversion parameter

 

Y=Log (Tan(lat)+sec(lat))*Conversion parameter

 

please suggest how to make it accurate.
