Scott44 Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 I think there is a variable that allows you to choose how a block gets inserted. It either dropps in, or a dialog box comes up, or it drops in and allows you to rotate it. Does anyone know what this variable is? Quote
ReMark Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 When inserting a block the INSERT window appears. There is an option for enabling Rotation. Is this what you are referring to? Quote
Scott44 Posted April 7, 2010 Author Posted April 7, 2010 No....After that part...Sorry, i'm having trouble explaining what i'm looking for. After that dialog box, and you're dropping the block on screen, i then get an attribute dialog box where I can type in something for the block......Or i can make it so the dialog box doesnt come up and the block just drops in...Does that make sense? dbroada Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 if you don't want the attribute dialogue set ATTREQ=0 Quote
Glen Smith Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 ATTREQ sets whether attributes are required or left to the default values. ATTDIA sets whether autocad opens a dialog box or uses the command line. Glen Quote
bonehead411 Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 If you drop blocks in from a tool palette you can set to prompt for rotation within the tool properties. Quote
Dana W Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 In the Block Insertion Dialog, you have to have the checkboxes for Specify on screen checked for each of Insertion Point, Scale, and Rotation that you want to do yourself. Quote
