Custom Ribbon Tab won't show

I just finished making all my panels for my ribbon, I created a new tab and added all of them, hit apply and closed out of the CUI. When I right click on the ribbon and go to show tab, the tab won't show up. I tried duplicating an existing tab and renaming it, that won't show up either. I closed and re-opened the ribbon, and also closed autocad down and re-opened, and still nothing. Am I doing something incorrectly? Halp

 

Edit: nevermind, I got it. I clicked on my current workspace and off to the right there is a button that says "Customize workspace". When I clicked that, back to the right there were check marks for the tabs and other properties that show up in your current work space. I checked my custom tab, back to the left I hit the "done" button and it worked. Thought I'd leave this up in case anyone else comes across this, I didn't have to do it for 2009 or 10, so i guess it's new for 11.
