i need help in mating a spring to a shaft..

i really need help to mate the spring. please somebody give me any sggestion even if i have to modify the design of the mating parts..tq

The spring ends may have to be orientated differently. For example, the end connecting to the bar, at 90 degrees to where it is now.

 

Is the shaft solid or can it turn ? You might wan't to cut some tab out of the lever so the spring can loop round it and no slip off. Even a hole in the middle would suffice. Mates can be quite difficult with these type of parts, but there are always ways around it.

 

First see about getting the spring the right way and having a notch/hole for it to sit in the lever.
