DannyB Posted April 13, 2010 Share Posted April 13, 2010 The spring ends may have to be orientated differently. For example, the end connecting to the bar, at 90 degrees to where it is now. Is the shaft solid or can it turn ? You might wan't to cut some tab out of the lever so the spring can loop round it and no slip off. Even a hole in the middle would suffice. Mates can be quite difficult with these type of parts, but there are always ways around it. First see about getting the spring the right way and having a notch/hole for it to sit in the lever.
