jsanford
We are currently working on a 6,000 acre resort project in the office using Civil 3D 2010. The past few weeks have been going smooth until this morning. Now drawings are being opened and their list of XREF's is showing up as "Unresolved". Keep in mind we have numerous x references but every drawing utilizes overlay xref's. When I open one of the unresolved xref's (which also has some overylay xref's in it), the drawing seems to have aquired a copy of all of the layers in the xref's placed in the drawing. A quick audit and purge gets rid of the newly acquired layers and the xref is no longer unresolved. BUT move on to another drawing that uses the same xref and you have to start all over again with the problem of the xref being unresolved because it has acquired all of these duplicate layers from the xref's in it. Why do the drawings keep generating duplicate layers from the drawings referenced into them? This is causing the unresolved xref problem, i think? Any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
