Noahma Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 Well, I was wondering if it is possible to smooth out a mesh object that I have imported from a 3ds file. at a distance they render wonderfully, but close up you can see all of the facets of the mesh. Is there an easy way to increase the mesh density to help hide some of these flat planes? Quote
papagyi Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 My idea, you should manage polygon numbers of model in 3ds max before import 3ds to autocad. Quote
Noahma Posted August 26, 2008 Author Posted August 26, 2008 that one of the things I might be trying, we have a very old version of VIZ at the moment, since we do not do much visualizaiton as of yet. since I am so new to this, how would I go about smoothing out the object? I dont have the trial version installed on my work machine, And thus no help files in front of me. Thank you for the help so far. Quote
