Removing the Line on a Viewport

Hi All,

 

Would imagine you probably heard this before, and im goin to feel stupid, but can I remove the line around a viewport to stop it printing?

 

Ive changed the style, thickness etc but dont seem to be able to remove it no matter what I do. Id prefer my model to sit there without a line as thats taken care of by other borders.

1) Put it on its own layer and set it to "no print".

 

Or...

 

2) Put the viewport on the Defpoints layer if there is one.

 

I use and like option #1.

I like option number 1.

 

In never versions of AutoCAD there are possible problems with putting objects on the Defpoints layer.

I used to put my viewports on the Defpoints layer, but now I just avoid it to be safe.
