Hi All,

This might have simple solution but I still need help (that’s why I’m here!)

I have some small drawings with some texts. I’m trying to use ‘match properties’ change texts from Romans to Ariel.

Now some are changing but for some text nothing happens when I click on them.

Please help!!!!!!

Thanks a lot.

Try "STYLE" at the command line. Pick/Select "Ariel" and save.

Without the quotes.

Are the ones that are not changing Mtext? if so you may find that if you go into the text editor that the font has been changed there which means that match properties wont work.

Sorry for delay in response,

First thing i'm doing on drawing is to format my text style )User 2; Ariel;Set current).

Now if have one text as what i want, i'm using that one to match others. Here is the problem some responds, others dont.these are consistant with all drawings.

All are Mtext

text which is not changing are remaining as (standard, romans).now if i open text editor and click on style again (on user2) they will change.

My question is why they not responding to match prop.

PLEASE note this is not show stopper for me I just wanted to know if i can twit any setting which can solve this prob. (and save some agonising font correction!)

Thanks a lot.

regards

As mentioned before, if the font/style of the Mtext has been edited using the Text Formatting toolbar, Matchprop won't work.

But if you use the StripMtext.lsp routine you can find here http://www.theswamp.org it will remove the formatting and Matchprop will work.
