solofusion Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Hi how can I put a draft text in paper space that sits behind my drawing so the text and lines aren't covered up? I can do this in model space by sending it behind but i would like to set up all my paper sheets this way to save time... I am using Auto Cad 2007. Thanks:) Quote
alanjt Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Not possible. You could do it as an XRef and drop where needed, but you can't accomplish this through paper if you don't want objects within the viewport covered. Quote
solofusion Posted April 23, 2010 Author Posted April 23, 2010 really well that is too bad... I will just have to do it in model sapce then. Thanks for your help:) Quote
alanjt Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 You could choose a very thin textstyle (eg. simplex) and set the color to one that would print pretty light. Then it wouldn't matter if it was atop the viewport objects. Quote
