You might try disabling your anti-virus software (if you can) and testing the system again.

I can't disable anti-virus, that's an IT guy thing. I could ask them to try that. . .. .. Will let you know how I go.

I still think it's the graphics card/chip. I'd imagine that the virus protection would be on other systems in the office..

 

Maybe there's a conflict with com ports/ usb?
