td88 Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 I installed my home mouse at the office with the appropriate installation software. It's a 5 button mouse and I've set up the right click button to be the Enter button and use it at home to repeat a command, rather than using the keyboard. At work, when I rt. click after a command, I get a shortcut/context menu asking me if I want to Enter or repeat the last command. (duh) Any ideas how I can eliminate this annoying and redundant menu and simply go directly to the next command? Hoping this is an Autocad setting and not some windows issue. Thanks, Tim Quote
td88 Posted April 30, 2010 Author Posted April 30, 2010 Bless you alanjt for the answer. Since I'm not at work, I checked my 2006 LT and found the Default Mode and Command Mode options greyed out. Why would they be greyed out? Thanks, Tim Quote

Not 100% sure what you're referring to, but be sure to uncheck the Turn on time sensitive right-click. Quote
td88 Posted April 30, 2010 Author Posted April 30, 2010 alan, got your answer before I could post that I had tried unchecking the time sensitive box. Amazing what happens when you start pressing buttons. I'm clearly not a power user yet but, when I press a button intended to be "Enter", I like to get Enter and not a question "Did you mean Enter?". Same with repeating a command. When I get acquainted with the finer points of Acad, I'm sure I may want full use of the shortcut menu. Thanks, Tim Quote

Thanks, Tim Once the right-click menu came out, I learned to use the spacebar (same as enter and my left hand rarely leaves the keyboard) as a replacement. That way I could have the best of both worlds (the above image shows my exact settings). Glad you got it sorted. Happy CAD'ing. Quote
