Zoobz
Hey guys got another problem.... I was told to get a program called Pepakura for unfolding 3D models. I have created to basic model in ACAD and saved it a a .DXF file. However when i try to improt into Peparuka it prompts me with this error... "0 vertice(s), 0 face(s) and 1 object(s) were deleted for data normalisation" click ok "Failed to open file" I am only using the limited shareware of Pepakura, does this message come up because i need to pay for a password? or am i doing something wrong...? Cheers

ReMark
I think it failed because you created your object as a solid.
MikeScott
Try a release 12 DXF. If that doesn't work, try exploding it first so that it's a series of faces.

MikeScott
ok i tried R12 version and exploding but keeps coming up with the same error You're talking about pepakura, right? you mentioned solidworks now and I'm not sure where you're sending the DXF to now. Perhaps you don't need to explode the solid if you're using the R12 dxf in pepakura? Or did you try the R12 both ways? Does the pepkura help documentation mention anything about it? Cad64
We got the .stl problem figured out in THIS thread, so Solidworks is not a part of the equation anymore. Zoobz, it would be best if you contain your questions within one thread, rather than spreading them out over several threads. As you can see, doing this causes confusion.
