I am new to making dynamic blocks and have a question that may just be me missing something basic.

Is there some sort of heirarchy in the application of parameters and actions assigned to them, or is it a matter of syntax ?

i created a dynamic block of a bolt, giving it a lookup table for the size. The original bolt was drawn at 1" diameter.

I assigned a stretch action to the length, and a scale action to get the correct diameter. The problem comes when i go to the lookup action and select a 3/4" x 4" bolt, the scaling happens first, so I end up with a 3/4" x 3". if I go back to the lookup again and reselect it, it stretches back out to the required 4". This is not really a big deal, I just like to have things work properly.

Did i miss something simple ?

i may have found it. Is it the "order" column in the parameters manager that will do this ?
