AccessStudent
I want to create some schedules in Excel and then link them to an ACAD 2010 Drawing. I can get the link done fine using either paste special or linking. The problem I am having is when I create the schedule in Excel, I put the title of the schedule in the first cell(A1), place headers in cells b1 thru as many as I need , and data in all other cells. The problem is my schedule title comes in as data cell. I want to increase the individual cell width in Excel (HOW???) or know what I am doing wrong. Thanks
ReMark
Put the title of the schedule in cell A1. Put your headers in B2 through Z2 and save yourself a lot of hassle.
AccessStudent
Thanks for the reply, Here was the problem. When I was putting the Title in Cell A1, I did a Paste special. It turned the ACAD Table Title into data cells. I sinced learned how to merge cells in Excel, and using the data link everything works fantastic.. Now on to merging with Access and SQL
