Guys,

When Using an OLE Object as an intergral part of a drawing plot spooling problem occur on our office network printers. In this instance If I trace some cable routes to act as on overlay onto an extract of OS mapping only the elements drawn in CAD appear. The background image is lost but not in it's entrity it perhaps appears across 20% of the page and then disappears.

This is the type of behaviour you would normally associate with out of memory errors on spooling yel the file size is only a few hundred kilobites.

When spooling these jobs the machine become unusable for at least 10 minutes whilst the plot file is process, I relised through experimentation that printing in background allows users to continue working whilst printing is in progress but am yet to find a solution that gives a full and correct print output

Can anyone perhaps recomend a third part print spooling utilty that would help in processing high desity graphics such as thos described
