Diast
My supervisor asked me to take a look at this software for possible use by others in the office as they don't want to have everyone using Acad. It totally jacked up C3D on my machine. It won't even open a dwg. anymore. Is it possible to find what it changed ? I don't want to un-install and re-install. I went back three days to the nearest backup point but it still doesn't work. I am loving my Sup right now. Thank you, BlueMoon (getting bluer)
kencaz
Your Civil wont open dwg files at all? I mean even if you open C3D and choose open? Or is it simply an association problem with .dwg In that case the Sketchbook may have stolen the .dwg association. In that case right click a .dwg in windows explorer and choose "Open With" KC
f700es
Never heard of it. Are you talking about AutoDesk Sketchbook?
Diast
I finally gave up trying to fix it and went home. When I got in this morning it is working. I didn't try rebooting last night as I have never heard a need for that after going back to a back-up point. I am not even sure if that is what made it function this morning. Anyway, thank you for taking the time to respond. I thought this was going to be an all day thing. For anyone else who reads this, do NOT download this software. It is by a company called "a la mode" and the name is "Davinci Sketchbook". I do not believe it is malicious intent. It just doesn't play well with AutoCad. f700es
Finally found it, a real-estate drawing program. Different... http://www.alamode.com/appraiser/davinci_desktop/
Tankman
Thanks for the link f700es. I've heard of the program, never looked at it. Does indeed look like a real-estate and/or decorator program. A bit pricy too!
