Bobzy20
Hi guys I’m trying to fillet this pipe (see illustration below) but the fillet seems to go the wrong way. I have used the ‘Union’ command to bind them together but the fillet should be filleting between the pipe and the wall. I have also attached the DWG file (Un-Unioned) (zipped). Any help would be great. Thanks Bobzy20
kencaz
Make sure the objects are touching when you union them. These objects are all unioned into one, however, the fillet on the right failed because it is not actually in contact with the other part even though AutoCad see's them as 1 piece. JD Mather
A quality check on your solids in an Autodesk next-generation 3D modeling product indicates that the faces do not pass quality check. After Refit of the surfaces it fillets correctly (acisin attached). Part1_JD.zip
