Treehugger Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 I have received several drawings from a client which have Ordnanace Survey Tiles in the background with layers of surveyed info on top. The pdf versions o the drawings show the details held on the map tile (e.g. roads, buildings and boundaries) When I open the DWG version of the same drawing the map tile layer is missing (even though I can make it out in the drawing thumbnail before opening the file). I am assuming the OS tile is externally referenced and a lin has been broken at some point. Is there any means of easily finding which file contains the correct tile and reestablishing the link? Cad64 Posted June 12, 2010 Posted June 12, 2010 The drawing thumbnail means nothing. It's just a snapshot of the last saved state. Did the client send you all the files? Check your Xref manager and Image manager to find out if you are missing any externally referenced drawings or images. Quote
Treehugger Posted June 13, 2010 Author Posted June 13, 2010 Thank you CAD64. I have never used the Xref manager before. I found it easy to use and it solved my problem. Many thanks. Quote
