meer
Hi, Using Autocad 2010. Can you select a command in the middle of the undo drop-down list to undo without undoing the commands that come after it? Thanks for any help in advance.
Cad64
No, Autocad will only undo in reverse order, starting with the last command initiated. You can select several entries in the list to undo all at once, but the selection will always start with the last command entered.
Runnerguy
When hitting the undo button on the toolbar is there a way to set it up so it ignores all the zoom commands and just scrolls back through commands that have physically changed the drawing? Thanks. Doug

Cad64
No, but if you go into Options > User Preferences tab > Undo/Redo, you can check the box to "Combine Zoom and Pan Commands". This helps somewhat, by combining the pans and zooms into one Undo.
rkent
There is one exception to this and it involves the erase and the oops commands. You can erase objects then move on with your editing and as long as you don't use erase again you can use oops to bring the erased objects back. Very handy sometimes to get something out of the way quickly, do some work, oops to bring it back. Limited but handy.
