Copy text from autocad to excel

Hi, is it possible to copy text from autocad to excel?

for example i have drawing list and my boss what to edit it excel. He want me to copy the text from autocad to excel coz he dont know autocad. Please help.. Thanks

Why doesn't your boss stick to "boss-type" work and you stick to AutoCAD. Ask him for the revised text and tell him you know he has much more important things to do.

There is a lisp routine posted at the AUGI forums that might do the trick. It was written by Tony Tanzillo and posted by Jaberwok. The lisp routine is called TXTOUT.lsp and you'll find it here:

If your drawing list created in a table (AutoCAD table) you can export it to csv.
