ATWOOD714 Posted June 18, 2010 Posted June 18, 2010 I am using AutoCad Electrical 2011. I double click on a text line in layout space and the text highlights in grey in only and a text formatting box DOES NOT appear. I cannot change font, height or size or anything for that matter. It seems to be locked. Any advice? Quote
Cad64 Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 Type PICKFIRST at the command line and make sure it's set to 1. Quote
ATWOOD714 Posted June 20, 2010 Author Posted June 20, 2010 Pickfirst didn't work. When I print the drawing to pdf, I receive a message that states "Cannot create the font ArialMT". I got the CAD file from another party and the text they used cannot be modified. I double click on the text and it highlights grey only. I can change the letters but can't change the height, font or any other attributes. It's like these settings are locked by the author because a formatting box doesn't appear like normal. Quote
MeOH Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 I am having the same issue. I dbl. click the text and no modifier box appears, so I am unable to change size and font. Has this been figured out yet? Quote
