How do I scale & lock layout / viewport / paper space

I need to apply a scale to a viewport, the scale is 1:50, is the command

zoom

value 0.2

 

 

also need to know how to lock viewport, a bit lost there.

Switch to MS inside the viewport, then Zoom>1/50XP

 

To lock, select viewport, right click, it's on the context menu -or- select viewport, change in properties -or- use the MVIEW command.

Not sure if locking viewports was available in 2007...?
