Is it not better to take a moment and provide a correct response? Rather than post erroneous quickly?
I have to agree. I'm a little lost.

And I am still standing , and trying to survive .

WTF?

with promises to be become better day after day.

I don't mind that you perhaps aren't too advanced at AutoLISP - we all start somewhere,

but I could not understand the reasoning behind this comment:

I used the 'strcat' because I wanted to add the entered value by the user

and I changed my mind due to personal reasons.

So that does not affect on the performance of the program Mr asoooooooooos

I do agree with you, But due to personal relationship with assos I made that as a sence of honor between both of us , and that's all.

And the mistake that I made is that I felt that I am talking to him face to face, and that's for sure.

Your appreciations to members gives me the honor more and more of this Forum, Beside that I did felt that I found my self somewhere here in this Forum .... honestly

My best regards

Tharwat

OK, so you do know that:

(getreal(strcat "\nSpecify scale factor:")

is wrong.

Yes I do know that was wrong, but unfortunetly afterall.

and here is what I wanted to included in that disappointed file;

(or scalefactor (setq scalefactor 2.0))

(setq scalefactor(getreal(strcat "\nSpecify scale factor:")))

(setq input scalefactor)

and so on .......

And I changed my mind due to things that did not reply as correct as it should be .

Will that be reasonable .....

Has anyone else noticed that the OP hasn't responded to his thread since his request to write a free clone of a provided linked routine?
